2012 Elwood Track Invite

Elm Creek finished 4th in the team race with 54 points. First place winners for the Buffaloes were Kyler Beck in the 100 and triple jump and Jake Bartling in the discus. Josh Earsom won the 200 for Loomis and the Wolves’ 400 relay came in second.

2012 Amherst Golf Invite

Kearney Catholic scored 332 to capture the team title at the 2012 Amherst Golf Invitational, played at Prairie Hills Golf Course. Elm Creek was the top FKC team, finishing fourth with 397, with Britton Ferguson scoring a 94 and Nic Crowley with 95.  Ferguson was 11th in the individual standings and Crowley was 12th. Wilcox-Hildreth came in sixth with a score of 423, with John Schnoor scoring 96 for 13th place. Team scores for Axtell 448 and Pleasanton 487.

NSAA Announces Winter NCPA Academic All-State Award Winners

LINCOLN – The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) is proud to recognize the Nebraska High School students who have earned the 2011-12 Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association (NCPA) Winter Season Academic All-State Awards. This NSAA program recognizes students who meet the criteria for nomination by their school in the season of their activity.

The following leadership and scholarship guidelines apply to all of the students receiving this honor:

  • A nominated student must be a varsity player or organizational leader who has played a significant role on the team or in the organizational activity that season.
  • A nominated student must have a minimum cumulative grade point average, in all curricular subjects, of 93% or A- (3.7 on a 4.0-point scale or the equivalent).
